FULL DESCRIPTION

SPICE MUST FLOW A universal fragrance. By the spice, I remain.
From the Marquis de Sade to Vaslav Nijinsky, to the poet Rumi and Tilda Swinton,
to Sécrétions Magnifiques. Fat Electrician, Victor Hugo, Roland Mouret,
Tom of Finland and Putain des Palaces all other Remarkable People ;
our perfumes
are messengers of light combatting darkness and ignorance.
They have evolved from the cult of merchants into what is most beautiful –
the exchange among humanity’s brothers and sisters.
It’s all about merchants. And in order to remember their open roads of spice and silk, as opposed to the obscurantism that all too often condemns us, we praise the merchants by dedicating to them this new fragrance. The spice becomes cosmic, mystical, enchanting, and it carries the echo of your name to the brightness of the stars. A universal fragrance.

MAIN NOTES

I stink good now

Upon discovering E L'O in a rude pop up ad, I thought I would try the sampler to feed my scent collector addiction. Upon receiving the sampler, I was struck by the unique and heady scents that were collected there in. Fat Plumber is aptley named and my least favorite, but now, should I fall in an open sewer, I will know what scent to apply. The others are intriguing and satisfying. Marquis de Sade is my favorite this week. All deliveries were earlier than promised and there has been no need to test their customer service.

Grows on you

I’m gonna be 💯: when I first sprayed this on my skin it had horrible grandma notes that I hated, but after a few minutes, the scent deepened and the lingering effect was exactly what I wanted. It’s a little dark, a hint spicy, but totally unique in a way that makes people say “you smell nice” rather than “what is that perfume?” Very pleased.

Perhaps misleading

This is a modern and well domesticated spice powder fragrance which can be worn for all occasions that merit the wearer's Joie de Vivre. The phrase that gives this fragrance's title its elan, "The spice must flow", is also uttered in the SciFi novel 'Dune'. Fans looking here for "The Spice Melange" of Dune fame will be lured into a blind alley. The "Spice Melange" of Dune should be knee deep in a cinnamon type spice and there must be a "Je Ne Sais Quois" too - musk? Vintage Magie Noire? Beaver Cleaver's Mother's House Coat and a pack of Marlboro's? Pick the hottest day, and stand in the heat of pavement until your head and eyes swim and your thoughts are drifting... like that - then add a short trip to the arctic with a splash of vodka. Rinse, add more "Je Ne Sais Quoi", and repeat.

Almost there

This is almost perfect. It’s smells as the title describes, spicy exotic adventurous. But it fails to make a serious impression. Dropping the rose would make this more unique because it smells very similar to 500 years.
