FULL DESCRIPTION

He brings the sun. Here, find an innocent wisdom that points to dreams and liberation. This is the golden eye that reflects beauty and conflict, rapture and pain.

Fils de dieu is an emotional fragrance, a scent that requires a sympathetic connection between the server and the served, the giver and the taker, and the willingness to exchange roles.

With the refreshing zest of lime and ginger, spiced with cardamon and coriander, soothed with shiso and rice, infused with the tropical warmth of the coconut, this is a scent that supports the escape from conformity and eases the way to freedom from convention.

MAIN NOTES

Lime, ginger, coriander leaves, coconut JE, rice, shiso, bergamot, vetiver, castoreum, musk, amber, leather

Wonderful fragrance

Like a delightful designer cocktail. I am not good at picking out individual notes. All I know is that this is subtle and sophisticated when all the notes come together. It smells like that feeling you have when anticipating an interesting and satisfying night out.

Smells like a hug

I love this one. It smells like a warm hug. I get the lime, a little bit of coconut ( not artificial smelling) and I guess the spices in this one is what makes it seem warm. It’s the perfect musk for me.

Smells great - on other people

Perfumes are sneaky. A perfume's real job starts after its applied, as it reacts to skin oils, perspiration, etc. The fragrance can change dramatically as it develops.

So it is with me and FILS DE DIEU DU RIZ ET DES AGRUMES. I love the smell of this one in the bottle! It's floral but not too floral, with a spicy quality that doesn't smell like a bakeshop, and a nice woody quality, too.

When I put it on, though? My body just obliterates the spicy and woody components, leaving me smelling like an old lady or baby powder (high-grade, artisanal baby powder but still...). That's just not the image I'm trying to cultivate.

My spouse, on the other hand, smells GREAT in this. My advice is, buy a sample first so you can find out how it behaves on you.
