500 Years is warm, spicy, and sweet. It has a good sillage and excellent staying power. I wouldn't have necessarily picked out chocolate or roses in the notes, but the cardamom and saffron are present. Overall, this is a nice spicy scent for cooler weather. Leans feminine, in my opinion, but could be unisex.
Unique with a pleasant dominant scent that i notice off and on throughout the day. I like that, figure others might too!
Didn’t love it- too smoky, spicy... something
Marie Antoinette used this scent in the powder for her wigs. It trailed her like a gentle nudge to decadence. Or was it Clara Bow, misting her furs before she drapped them over her heavily beaded silk gowns, slipping herself into the midnight? A poofy puff in a bottle, gently unraveling into deep feminine warmth throughout the evening. Not straight forward lust, but a quiet settlling into the ocean crashing on your loins. This is not a daylight fragrance.
I love it. It's this "golden" spicy smell at first, and fades into something sweet and seductive. (I'm bad at describing scents)
I would definitely call this a sweet, spicy musk. I got a sample of three scents, and of the three, this was my husband's favorite on me.
Unrelated sidenote: I loved the punky sticker and voter card that came with my sample order. I'm officially in love with this company and their scents.
