There is definitely lots of incense here, but it seems to be mixed with the smell of equal parts pixie sticks or sweetarts and pee. In a good way, though. I get fantastic longevity and great sillage. It has an effervescent character. Personally, I do not detect any of the leather notes on my skin that other reviewers describe (maybe that is the urine note that I referenced), but I enjoy smelling myself all day when wearing RII. This is definitely an incense fragrance, but it goes off into a different direction. It is not churchy. It is intense, yes, but not suffocating.
I’ve always loved Rien, but The Intense Incense edition takes my adoration to another level! Frankincense & leather-clouds of it! Is it possible to feel pure and perverse at the same time? Why yes indeed! Great juice!
Finally, a fragrance that lives up to the hype. Big and full with performance to match. If you like incense, you gotta have this one.
A pack of sparkly aldehydes over animalic leather and resinous incense plus a nice rich patchouli. Fabulous!
