Gourmand, Floral

The seductive side of the not-so-innocent mademoiselle. The sweetness of marshmallow enflowered by an elegant and feminine bouquet of orange blossom and lily-of-the-valley gives way to a hint of seductive patchouli.

FULL DESCRIPTION

Do you know this adorable mademoiselle? She’s a girly-girl, clutching a bouquet of orange blossom and lily-of-the-valley, all sweetness and light and delicate grace. Like a ballerina, she pirouettes across the floor and into your heart. But this young dancer knows some jazzy moves. That pink-and-white charm conceals shades of gray. And when the innocence of fresh white flowers gives way to a hint of seductive patchouli, you know there’s more to her. Someday, her sparkle will turn into fire, and her gentle warmth will become passion. Oh, the sweet mystery of this precious child/woman! But all will be revealed when he asks her, “Do you..?” And she replies, “Yes, I do”.

MAIN NOTES

Nice but I coulda skipped this one

This is lilly of the valley. That’s all I get out of it. “Something” comes thru later though I can’t tell what. What NEVER makes an appearance is cacao. I desperately want something chocolate to be here!!. I lilly-of-the-valley out in the late 70’s early 80’s maybe. Was a fragrance-head long before they coined the term. It’s good, just not what I wanted in a scent.

Love at first spray.

I was terrified of this on first impression. When I sprayed it the air was sharp and floral, but then dried down into the most delicate, slightly sweet, marshmallow. Perfect.

Not what I expected but not bad

I originally bought it off of @ohuorettythings rec on Instagram. She describes it as delicate and having notes of jasmine and marshmallow. When I received it, it wasn’t nearly the sweet scent I thought it would be. It’s very delicate, but has a powdery, floral scent instead of sweet.

Love this gorgeous fragrance

A lovely feminine floral that's rich but not cloying or overly sweet. I used to wear Tatiana but they changed the formula sometime in the 80's and wrecked it. Yes I Do is like a modern and updated version of that sumptuous floral aroma.
