FULL DESCRIPTION

SPICE MUST FLOW A universal fragrance. By the spice, I remain. From the Marquis de Sade to Vaslav Nijinsky, to the poet Rumi and Tilda Swinton,
to Sécrétions Magnifiques. Fat Electrician, Victor Hugo, Roland Mouret,
Tom of Finland and Putain des Palaces all other Remarkable People ;
our perfumes
are messengers of light combatting darkness and ignorance.
They have evolved from the cult of merchants into what is most beautiful –
the exchange among humanity’s brothers and sisters.
It’s all about merchants. And in order to remember their open roads of spice and silk, as opposed to the obscurantism that all too often condemns us, we praise the merchants by dedicating to them this new fragrance. The spice becomes cosmic, mystical, enchanting, and it carries the echo of your name to the brightness of the stars. A universal fragrance.

MAIN NOTES

Turkish Rose, Ginger, Pepper, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Saffron

So. Nice smells

This fragrance is so warm and comforting. After a draining day at work (mentally, physically, emotionally) I need to just lay in bed. Spend some time disassociating. I've found putting this on when I get home is like a warm hug to my mind. I very much enjoy the scent while collecting my thoughts. It's become a tool of self care, of mental healthcare. I didn't know such things were possible, I'm thankful that I found this.

Warm Love

I won't tell you what it smells like. I'll tell you how it "feels," it's warm, like being wrapped up in a baggy cashmere sweater while snuggled in a deep couch, a cinnamon candle filling the room with ease.

Divine Rose

Just got a bottle of this and I am in love. I have been looking for a rose perfume that was spicy and smoky and perfect for fall and winter. This is it! The price tag is hefty, but it lasts forever on my skin. Even when I stop smelling it, other people compliment me on it so I know it's still making its moves even if my nose has started to ignore it. :-) This is a unisex scent, IMO, for fall and winter.

I am a Dune fan and am a little sad about the lack of cinnamon in this perfume as it relates strongly to the novel. The spice, after all, did smell like cinnamon. I just don't notice the cinnamon on me. However, I could definitely see this as being the scent of the Bene Gesserit & Reverend Mothers.

"Thus spoke St. Alia-of-the-Knife: "The Reverend Mother must combine the seductive wiles of a courtesan with the untouchable majesty of a virgin goddess, holding these attributes in tension so long as the powers of her youth endure. For when youth and beauty have gone, she will find that the place-between, once occupied by tension, has become a wellspring of cunning and resourcefulness."

—from Muad'Dib, Family Commentaries by the Princess Irulan"

- quoted from Frank Herbert's 'Dune'
