This beautiful perfume is constantly changing on my skin; at times I get a wave of smoke, then it transforms into a very fresh jasmine. I like wearing it and pretending that I am someone I am not: all of the drama, none of the lung cancer.
Before this I had basically only tried American scents. I love how different this is and I feel like I'm in a cafe in France when I wear it.
Can’t live without her!
This fragrance is the perfect combination of jasmine and cigarettes....and I should mention I hate cigarettes! This reminds me of 1940’s Hollywood, it’s sexy and risqué but still lovely and comforting. It’s the perfect blend of naughty and nice. You must try it!
So, I really expected this scent to be a little dirty or naughty because of the name. It was a foolish assumption because unexpected is the modus operandi with this house! The name is perfect because you really smell both jasmine and cigarettes. Now the jasmine may very well be the finest, purest, cleanest jasmine I've ever smelled. It's not an easy feat! It's something so familiar to everyone that we may tend to rush by, looking for the other notes. But it is so pure and beautiful that you just have to pause and appreciate. The cigarette note isn't really tobacco, but more of the scent of a freshly opened pack-- equally pure and rather virginal like the jasmine. There's nothing burnt or ashy or remotely dirty at all, but it is also not juvenile in all it's purity. I was so surprised how clean the scents are in the blend! It's really really good! Like all ELDO fragrances it evokes a flurry of experiences-- both familiar and totally alien. Also, it evolves from the white, clean notes in the beginning to a truly bright, modern and lingering ride. If you like jasmine you must try it, if you don't like jasmine you should still try it because after the first hour the magic happens and it becomes something beyond the sum of it's parts.
